Global Learners Volunteer
Middle School

Volunteers participate in either after-school group mentoring or lunch-time individual mentoring one day a week at one of PAIR’s partner school locations in our Learners Program. Group mentors commit to one semester of volunteering. Activities include: cultural orientation, academic enrichment, homework help, games, sports, and crafts! Mentors build relationships with students and support academics through homework help.

Mentors must be 16 or older and be able to present a valid government-issued photo ID to apply.

Volunteer applications accepted (Dec-Jan) for Spring or (Aug-Sept.) for Fall semesters.

Global Scholars Volunteer
1-on-1 Mentorship
High School

For our Global Scholars, PAIR uses two mentorship models.

For in-school volunteering, volunteers work individually or in groups with youth to build relationships, support academic success and assist with ESL, as well as tutoring and college/career exploration.

Must be 18 or older and able to provide a valid government-issued photo ID

Volunteer applications accepted (Dec-Jan) for Spring or (Aug-Sept.) for Fall semesters,

For 1-on-1 mentorship, volunteers participate in individual mentoring for over six hours a month over the course of 2 years, supporting high school junior and seniors with an exclusive focus on graduation while creating post-secondary plans. College access curriculum is provided, and the program can take place after-school.

Mentors must be 21 or older, a college graduate, and able to pass a background and MVR check to apply.

Global Leaders Volunteer
High School

For Global Leaders, volunteers participate in after-school group mentoring one day a week at one of PAIR’s partner school locations. Group mentors commit to one semester of volunteering. Activities include: cultural orientation, academic support, career exploration, and college readiness. 

Mentors must be 18 or older and be able to present a valid government-issued photo ID to apply.

Volunteer applications accepted (Dec-Jan) for Spring or (Aug-Sept.) for Fall semesters.
